Collie tail wags to my sponsors below for this month:

Bella came to rescue in 2014. Originally she was posted as looking for a home and would have loved to have her own family. However there was no interest from anyone and months turned into years. After many years, given Bella had decided that she WAS home (we humans are so slow sometimes to realize when dogs know things we don’t!), we felt it best to allow her stay with her foster family.

Bella has EPI or Endocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) which means she cannot process food properly. Without special enzymes put on every meal, every treat, she will eventually die. However, with her enzymes given each mean, she is fine and will live a long, normal, happy life.

Part of the reason Bella had no interest from adopters was the fact that she is very quirky. Bella goes through life in her very own special Bella way and isn’t super interested in changing that for anyone, thank you very much. She fits into her foster home well though and will remain part of the Furever Foster program for life now.

Bella requires special enzymes on her food to ensure she can digest it properly and get the nutrients she need to live. She is also on a vet prescribed diet which is costly each month. Other than annual exams and vaccinations these are her main expenses.

Monthly costs:  Approx.$100+
